Dutot... intriguing work...
Profile of Bruno Dutot
|
Dutot
His mother, a Norman, raised 8 children. Bruno is the youngest of the family. The desire for painting came early in Bruno's childhood; with affirmation during college. Training continued at the "Beaux-arts" school of Art studies in Caen for two years where his first major works came to life. His debut exhibitions were in Montpellier in the summer of 1983. His first exhibition outside France was at the Washington DC Gallery, P21 Dupont Circle in 1985. In the USA Bruno was introduced to a larger meaning of "Art" in a more divers cultural environment. Mrs Gaujard the director of the gallery found his paintings and particularly his characters daring for life. "The characters' curves were related to life which are moments of reality" i.e. The Crowd 1992. |
